This Air Force Major has just ended his career...
An Air Force major was arrested on the steps of the Capitol on Wednesday after calling for President Trump and Vice President Vance’s impeachments.
Peaceful demonstrations are permitted on Capitol grounds, but a protester must remain alongside a member of Congress to speak openly from the steps.
Originally, Air Force Maj. Jason Watson was accompanied by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas), who later left.
Upon the lawmaker’s exit, Watson was directed to come off the steps or face arrest, Capitol Police told The Hill. Watson was then arrested for crowding, obstructing and incommoding, the authorities noted in a statement.

I’m not surprised Al Green was involved, nor am I surprised to see him run away and leave Watson on his own. Good riddance to Green, as he lost his bid to a dem challenger...LOL
First of all, day ONE in the military we all got a brief of what we could not do anymore when we signed our lives away. And that included losing some ‘rights’ like complete freedom of speech. And we were told we were NOT allowed to participate in any kind of demonstration, rally, or ANYTHING political, and NEVER in uniform...
Under the UCMJ, HERE, he violated at least three articles-
Article 92: Dereliction or failure to obey a lawful general order. (see above)
Article 134: Conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. (his actions)
Article 88: Contempt toward officials (if the protest is directed against the President, Vice President, Congress, or other designated officials). (calling for the President and Vice President to be impeached, convicted and removed from office for ‘things’)
He will get at least the BCD, or Bad Conduct Discharge, also known as the big chicken dinner at his courts martial. At the least, he will lose eligibility for the GI Bill, VA health care, and VA mortgages. If he is convicted at the courts martial of any felony, he will also the ability to own a weapon, and to vote. Plus, realistically, never be able to hold a state or federal government job.
But I’m sure the left will make him a ‘poster boy’ for freedom of speech, at least for a while, until they no longer need him, then they will dump him just like they did Cindy Sheehan. Anybody remember her? Heard anything about her lately???
I have no clue ‘why’ he did what he did, but he’s done... 20 years down the drain for his now 15 seconds of fame. Good riddance!

I'm waiting for at least one, and possibly two close family members to blow up over it, and I just might keep an eye on the FB of one of them .... just to see if there are any comments worthy of exposing to sunlight.

The USAF Is full of assholes and idiots in their officer corps (As a former USAF officer I know from whence I speak). Remember the USAF colonel who made up lies about Trump, as well as told the media about confidential things he 'overheard'?
Sadly that asshole isn't in prison and I don't think he got a dishonorable, which he deserved.
I personally believe it comes from the USAF having too many officers, which came about (partially) from their stupid 'only officers can be pilots' policy. Also, a LOT of officers in the USAF just aren't soldiers. They know they'll never see combat, their fitness is atrocious, and they were losers whose real reason for joining was so they would get 'respect' - as well as power.
I knew technical people who were offered Captain and promised major, because the USAF wanted their technical skills - nobody gave a damn about their officer skills. There just isn't enough pride and professionalism in the officer corps.
I knew a lot of good officers in their USAF, but the percentage of soft, dishonorable, backstabbing, momma's boys, whose word was shit and were utter cowards hiding behind their rank was shocking. They were there to play politics and live out their power fantasies. Not serve our country.
