We need to return to State's Rights.

We need to fire 80 percent of the federal government and shut down most of the federal agencies.

We need a supreme court that declares unconstitutional laws and regulations, unconstitutional.

I don't think that the credentialed class is down for the count just yet. The latest test is going to be what happens over the next nine months or so.

My liberal friends and acquaintances are convinced that people will be dying in the streets, crops will rot in the fields, jobs will evaporate, and the little old lady down the street will have her door broken down by ICE and dragged to Alligator Alcatraz. Because the experts and CNN tells them so.

When none of that happens, I'd like to think that the scales will fall from their eyes. It won't be everyone by any stretch. But I hope that it's enough to give Trump veto and fillabuster proof majorities in the midterms.

Because, I think that it's going to take a generation to fix the damage assuming that common sense can keep getting reelected. And the American people are willing to accept a little pain with progress.

No one wants their ox gored. If the pain can be postponed, it will be. If some new fundamental human right can be funded by the U.S. Treasury, it will be. Bastiat & de Tocqueville...2 Frogs who got it right. Wish I could be more optimistic.

When the elites protect their legacy instead of the people you end up with a cluster like we're in now. Trump can't be the only person who believes what he believes, however he's the only one right now who doesn't give a good damn what the other side thinks, and that makes him powerful.

DOGE is a good idea, and I'm happy it's still operating. Musk was a lagniappe, but we can get along without desert. What we can't get along without is a government that IS a Constitutional Republic, and that means obeying the Constitution. If we either ceased or delegated to the states all activities the federal government currently does that are not an enumerated power the people would once again control the government, not the other way around. While we're at it, repeal the 17th Amendment. Just because the sovereign states were incapable of fulfilling their duty to send a senator is no reason to devolve the senate into a six year house of representatives seat.

Okay, I'm out of breath. Great article. Thanks
