It is actually worse than you wrote.

Yes, the Dems have, and continue to pass laws they ‘know’ are going to be overturned sooner or later - that's a fact

As I understand it - IANAL, NDIPOOTV

While the laws are in force, the idea is to convict as many felons as possible for violating the law. When the law is overturned, those convicted of violating the law while it was in effect are still convicted felons and still stripped of their gun rights, unless granted a full pardon by that state's governor. Stripping people, who are known avid gun owners, of their gun rights is one of the sub rosa objectives of passing unconstitutional gun laws.

the thing those mental midgets don't see is that it's working exactly backwards. The law comes out and it's never enfocable on signing... so there's a sudden rush to purchace. People that would never have bought an AR in their lives, bought ARs because "well if the government says I shouldn't have one of these, I NEED one of these." It may not be "human nature" but it's sure as shit "American nature."

Prohibition does not work here. It just creates new classes of criminals. "Al Capone, white curtesy phone please" The Mafia would have been just a NYC and Chi problem if not for Carrie Nation and her band of puritanical bitches.
