I think the current mentality in America is closer to what it was 250 years ago than 50 years ago. We're as splintered now as it was with Rebels and Loyalists raiding back and forth in New York and New Jersey in the 1770s. We just haven't flipped the switch, yet.

And for that "yet," I'm truly grateful because guerrilla/partisan warfare is an ugly thing, no matter how necessary it may be. 😔

God bless the men who understood this and still took up the banner of freedom. 🙏
