Uncle John was a Pearl Harbor survivor. USN 1938-1968. Retired as a GMGC. Uncle John, my dad and my 5 other uncles seldom talked about WWII. Of those seven, 5 were Navy, 1 USAAF and 1 USA. John's son served in the Navy and so did 6 of his nephews and nieces. ...RMSN 4 years, RD2 5 years, ETN2 6 years, PN2 6 years, FTGCS(SW) 24, BUCS(SCWS) 26 and LT 26 years.
