However, I'm not looking forward to the grasshoppers heading to Florida, Texas, Tenneesee, bringing their foolish ways, their voting records, their money to drive up the costs of living as they travel into strong, beautiful states. All I can think when I see and hear of them is "Why didn't you fight in New York?" "What good will you bring to my home?"
There is an old proverb that says, "A fish rots from the head down". I think in the case of Florida, if the blue grasshoppers move here to escape the unicorn fart stench of the urban utopian shitholes they created that the rot will begin a Florida's tail (Miami-Dade, Naples, et al) and move up and then west. That is a small consolation to me (but I'll take it) as I live in the far western Panhandle, in what we call, Baja Alabama or Purt-Near Alabama. Rural Alabama is in walking distance, would be an easy bug out for me, if this wasn't a stand your ground state. Heh...just a few months ago ICE swooped down on an AT&T crew installing underground cable for bundled internet/phone/TV just a half a mile from my home. Sure put a crimp in that project but it happened to AT&T, so, so what? I live in Cantonment, FL, This roadside marker is fitting:
Probably the same crew working in my neighborhood, Dale. Lots of folks getting fiber in my neighborhood are having problems with their connections, too. 🤔
I don't begrudge anyone having good, quick, reliable cable service, but if bad stuff has to happen let it be to AT&T. My experience with them, both professionally and as a customer, makes me predisposed to schadenfreude when they stumble. More so than when Bank of America s_its the bed. <--- I have horror stories.
Yeah, but they'll appear to be trying to. And Trump is building that new ball room. I dunno, John, am I wrong to think that clutching at straws is better than clutching at pearls? It seems that most of the silent majority is waiting for the bugle to blow and for the shout of "To the Ramparts!", most folks thinking it is so very dangerous to walk point in a massive civil kerfuffle. Sucks when one side has an ROE and the other doesn't.
No one will ever do anything. The silent majority is -silent-. They never do anything.
70 years ago, the guns would have already come out. Now?
Maybe, just Maybe, the guns will come out after they start the killing. Look at what happened after they tried to assassinate Trump, or after they Did assassinate Kirk.
We should be in a full blown civil war with half the cities in flame.
But the right does nothing, as the left continues to enslave and kill them.
Prepare yourself for warm beer, Tom. Warm beer is what happens when civilizations fall. I have a bunker underneath this project I have been working on since 1986. Et tu? Can't be too prepared, right?
Dale, my outside thermometer in direct sun (its sunny and breezy, wash hanging outside) reads 47. Actually, thats a good temperature for good, craft brew. Now the Molson Canadian I consider just beer, that can be iced.
Popcorn and ammunition.

When the choices are Cox, AT&T, or Starlink for a fast data connection, you're pretty much [censored]. 🤷♂️
And the Republicans won't do anything at all to stop any of it.
They should change their name to the Castradi party. Seeing as they've all got no balls.

Yeah. Most people want a good outcome but take the position of "Let's you and him fight". We get the kind of government we deserve.
The ghost of Antonio Gramsci is looking up from Hell, grinning.
I have cold beer, chips and the bunker prepared.
Let the show begin!
