So. My take away? Never go outside in your pajamas with a camera to try to get a picture of a tornado. A carry-over of NATOPS into civilian life? I think so. BZ.

PA got hit hard yesterday too. I work for a power utility that owns assets up there and looks like I'm going to find myself on storm duty, dispatching crews.

I'm glad you came through that all right! I have sympathy for those in the line of fire!

Mr Old NFO - I didn't realize you're an Okie too (I am living in CA though). Sounds like you're getting some Oklahoma spring weather!

You are not near Seymour, because we were rockin and a rolling last night.

It WAS a DARK and STORMY night. . .

WELCOME to Texas, where everything is bigger, including the weather

starting about 1800ish - Lots of heavy rain, lots of lightning, and according to the reports 106+ mph winds, plus the added excitement (at no additional charge)

of several apparent/maybe/could be tornadoes in the immediate area.

Lights went out at appx 2030 - The lights came on for us at 0023 hrs.

GOOD JOB,  BZ's to Tri County line crews

Lost the chicken coop - if we had had chickens, they would now be truly FREE RANGE

Lost a 6" live limb off a tree,  no apparent house damage at this time."

Once again - Cows just don't care."

more T-storms continuing throughout today
