I'll admit that I'm surprised that an argument was NOT made that the Voting Rights Act, used so often to bludgeon R's about accurately counting minority votes, was not used to reinforce the idea that *ALL VOTERS* lose the power of their votes when illegitimate votes are counted in elections.
The NAACP, like many other older organizations, has given up on its foundational principals in exchange for leftist political talking points. The cynic in me believes it's all about fundraising and giving the bigwigs the luxuries they feel entitled to.
In all seriousness, that's of a piece with any formally organized entity (e.g. with paid staff etc.) created to solve a problem. Once the problem is solved there's no reason for it to exist any more ... so it either must retask (e.g. March of Dimes, formed to help eradicate polio) or never solve the problem. I would have thought the SPLC would be the ones to take the lead on this. As they're otherwise occupied, however, I guess someone else had to step up.

Perhaps that's best saved for the inevitable appeal. The minority opinion or oppo attorneys can't make counterarguments to it until it's presented.
