If and when the leaker is discovered; arrest and prosecution is clearly in order. If Military, certainly there is a hole in Ft. Levanworth they can be stuffed in.

What is great is that our Intel and Military can conduct the rescue operation despite being disadvantaged, own our enemy completley, take out another high level evildoer, and exfil without any loss of life. That's what I pay taxes for!

I sincerely wish we’d start seeing arrests for all this crap that’s been going on for years now. And judges removed from benches and disbarred, politicians removed from office and tried for corruption, and consequences paid for all of this. The politicians are brazen these days about their corruption bevause there are no consequences paid-or rather the consequences these days are paid for trying to be honest, not crooked. And the corrupt guys just keep getting voted in every cycle bevause Taminy Hall is alive and well

Yup, garnering the credit for a big news scoop and thinking it "legit" in all respects because of YOUR 1A rights probably needs a gentle knock at the door and a team of professionals to 'splain, even non-verbally if need be, what doing the right thing means.

Heh, yeah, I like this Mullin guy.

NYT 'broke' the story, I think. Just part of the 'press agent for the other side' role.

Personal opinion: put airport security in the hands of the airports, make them legally liable if a terrorist gets on a plane; they can hire competent security to run background checks, check luggage, and nab someone before turning them over to the feds. Airlines can pay for accessing a secure airport. It means those flying will face higher rates, but it would be only fair considering that not everyone flies. 🤷‍♂️

Second opinion: We need to pass relevant expenses onto the consumer. You want that bottle of soda, you get to pay for better roads to move it and the cost of gas the trucks consume in moving it. None of that only spreading the costs around to the higher earners in federal income taxes.

And as far as OPSEC/COMSEC, most people, including a lot of military dependents have never been given the "talk" about shutting their gob about things happening on base or with their active duty member's unit. Saw it in Korea where the threat of near immediate attack remains. 🤦‍♂️

Funny thing is, SFO has NEVER had TSA, their security is all contracted...

Before TSA, airport security was largely privatized. TSA's creation was a kneejerk reaction to 911. What have we gotten with TSA? To be sure, we have gotten about 65,000 new 30-year career bureaucratic apparatchiks with entry level skills similar to the fast food industry. That's about 3% of the federal workforce. Privatize airport security. Cheaper...no federal retirement pay and perks. Contract labor can attract better workers with higher pay and fewer benefits, attractive to young and fit people. You can lay off contract laborers easier if they are non-performing. Probably get groped less often too.

"WHO leaked we only got ONE of the F-15E crew back? WTF? Did nobody ever hear of OPSEC???"

President Trump is clearly pretty angry about this, AND about the "journalist" who published/posted about it.
