I truly am jealous sometimes ;) Having a group of friends who get together that often, eat together, and just have fun enjoying each other's company? As Visa would say - priceless lol Now if there was just a way to set up a teleportation link between WV and TX.....
Interesting that it was so cold there! That front isn't getting to us until Monday, so Saturday for us was near 80, and partly cloudy. But never fear - those 30's are coming for us.
Old Man winter just does not want to let go this year!
Last Saturday: near 90, Next Saturday: near 90, yesterday: SNOW!?!
Yup, apparently this is a normal part of weather in this part of Northern Texas that nobody bothered to tell me about. (But getting to sit down and eat with the rest of the group makes it more than worth it!)
Thanks for the recipe. It sounds great.
I will try a smaller batch next week as most of my friends live farther away than is convenient to come over for dinner.
But we do a great Orphans' Thanksgiving on the Saturday after. No family, just friends.
But we are all the crazy uncles and aunts. :-)
