We 2.5 inches of rain last night. Not too much.

Biggest problem is the ants climbed up the power feed line and into the GFCI outlet and destroyed it, taking the tower down after midnight. Now I gotta run into town and buy a new one and reseal that box.

Until the ants eat through it all again. :-P

Fire ants are good at taking out airconditioning units. Happened twice to me. The repairman said something about the electrical insulation being "soy-based" and attracting ants. Sounds crazy. He recommended Bengal Ant & Roach spray regularly. Seems to work.

Is there anything that they won't ruin by putting that evil soy in?

No. They even put it the wiring harness of my wife's 2021 Toyota RAV4, according to the mech who repaired her car. Squirrels or mice got into it. Wasn't cheap to replace. Now she puts rat traps baited with peanut butter beneath her car.

Good grief! Terrorist ants were not on my bingo card.

No landfall hurricanes this year to the best of my knowledge. Does this mean Global Warming/Climate Change is over? I don't want to be forced to buy an electric car in 2030. AccuWeather had predicted 13-18 storms for 2025.

Neighborhood cats appear to agree with the almanac.
