Protesting against the American flag is protesting against America! Any city or town that limits the size of flag you can display is trying to limit free speech. Someone should read the Bill of Rights to these morons.
IMO, the left can’t win at the ballot box and the temper tantrum like protest and violence will hurt their brand long term. Obama started using the courts to enact laws and do things that he couldn’t get through congress in a clean bill. Obama also started the money move to NGOs to do things that the government was prevented from doing (IE NGOs helping illegal aliens). The left uses the courts to stir up the anger in their base and force conservatives to toe the line.
In Salt Lake City, it's hard not to notice that the locally owned grocery stores, and most of the car dealerships, fly the biggest US flags I've seen since I wore green to work every day, during the Cold War. Warms my heart!
If anyone is complaining, they're keeping it to themselves.
On the fairness route, they really do get ludicrously large flags.
On the flip side fairness route, they're ludicrously large flags that are actually able to wave in the wind based on the location, which prevents the eye-sore option. That's why it's so *cool*.
Which takes it to, ok, what on earth was the reasoning for this....

Found the council meetings... can't find something like "camping world" in documents, so go look for times....
OK, there's some kind of a fight in the council going on; this news making vote was the 24th, and on the 13th they voted down an amendments saying "the city code on flag size is not about the American flag, for crying out loud." (links here)

And the ones, who complain, are exercising the "heckler's veto."
Frankly, we need to create ushers for the public square.
