I love when they discover new deep space stuff. Cosmology is one of the last havens of honest hard science out there, and I find it unsurprising that many astronomers and cosmologists find God. I've never seen Feynman's list before, although I have heard of him. That list is basically a template (?) by which to judge all that's wrong with the "follow the science" crowd and the diabolical (not hyperbole) offenses against humanity that have been perpetrated over the past few years.

It's an excellent list from a giant in scientific theory. One of my favorite quotes of his you listed here, "Have no respect whatsoever for authority; forget who said it and instead look what he starts with, where he ends up, and ask yourself, 'Is it reasonable?'' If we had an honest media that quote would have been thrown in the face of various talking heads the last several years.

so many good points here, no matter what your stance or background in when it comes to science. Data is just that - it is just facts, and all data has to be interpreted by fallible humans who are always individually biased. The ability to question, criticize, backcheck, and debate is therefore critical to the success of science and the advancement of humanity.

So much of what is considered "consensus" today is nothing more than lies and misleading because in the background, the consensus is there only because any criticism is quickly stifled, and those who would dare question are attacked, maligned, canceled and quickly stifled into silence or mocked and their reputations destroyed, being called quacks or conspiracy theorists or whatever by the media.

All this does is allow big corporations who only care about the bottom line to control the narrative and the studies to ensure the outcomes they wish are the ones promoted. And thus we see medications that were touted as safe and effective to years later be shown to be ineffective or worse harmful, we see policies put into place by governments that have no help to humanity or the planet they claim to serve but are instead detrimental to both people and the earth, causing long term harm for generations, and we see real innovation stifled and choked out.

Corporatism has truly killed the age of discovery and innovation, sadly. There is little room for the Graham Bells, the Einsteins, the Teslas of today to work and dream and build and experiment and learn.
