The problem in WI is that the GOP is majority RINOs and sleeper agents for the radical left. Their elections have been rigged, and hard ever since they got Gov Walker out. The enclaves in Madison and Milwaukee ability to churn out 100%+ returns and not suffer legal challenges are insurmountable for the rest of the state, and unless there is some huge federal level legal actions and arrests, you can never fix this, now that the judiciary is gone (something that's been slowly made partisan for even longer in the state. What a pathetic era for the state that is the birthplace of the GOP and John Birch Society. It's one of the reasons I'm glad I escaped.

I live in Florida District 1, the place that elected Joe Scarborough and Matt Gaetz repeatedly. Believe it or not, Scarborough was a staunch Conservative and a Republican firebrand while he served. He was very popular here and did great work in Congress. Until he resigned mid-term, got TV gig, a Kool Aid IV and became what he is now, a twisted talking head for LaLa Land. I was hot and cold about Gaetz. He was a walking atomic bomb, a Shrike missile and a broadside of 16"-ers to the Left. A grandstander but a grand gladiator for the Right in the Congressional and national arena. I never warmed up to him personally, but (mostly) was in his cheering section. I voted for Patronis because the alternative was to vote for a Democrat. To me, Patronis is a cipher. His chief, and only asset as far as I could see was the endorsement of President Trump. Aside from a photo together, I don't know if they even know each other.

FL District 1 is a nice place to live. Even more so is the far Northwestern (Baja Alabama) end of it. Best as I can recall, we've had 6-7 hurricanes or near misses and only 1 case of "looting". Well, not really looting per se. It was some illegal alien (Mexican said the police report) stealing gasoline from a generator powering a traffic light at a busy intersection during Hurricane Ivan. Ivan was devastating here. I had no power for 10 weeks and no phone or internet for 3 months. Anyway, this gasoline thief got pounced on by a half dozen locals who sat on him until the police carted him off. Yup, this is a good place to live. Friendly people who all seem to get along well. Still has that vibe of the Deep South 1950s I was raised in but with better racial harmony.
