Prisons should be no-frills institutions. Places you don't want to end up at, places to easily avoid by following the rules, places that are isolated and secure, places with the solitude that enhances the careful contemplation of one's life choices. I think this puts Florida ahead of Louisiana's Angola Prison. Makes me proud to be a Floridian. ***snif*** When I was a high schooler in New Orleans in the 1960's our class took a bus tour of Angola state prison . Yikes! Made me the man I am today...never wanted to illegally immigrate anywhere. Geez, I could have ended up in Tegucigalpa, homeless and having to sell a pint of my premium A(neg) blood every week just to get by.
What a wonderful idea! A place to park illegals while waiting for the liberal courts to finish their illegal attempts at having their next voting bloc deported! The alligators and pythons are a beautiful touch, sort of reminds me of Devil's Island. In any case, we need to house these creeps while we're getting the paperwork done, and it has an airport, so their final trip can start locally. The only problem I see is if enough illegals try to escape, the liberals will have a case for polluting the Everglades.
The liberals will have a hard time suing the alligators and pythons for pooping in the Everglades. Composting and recycling is Mother Nature doing her best work. Nah, Jack, the liberals trash Gaia at their peril.
See, this is why I've always thought we widen the Rio Grande into a canal. Make it nice and deep and then fill it with endangered alligators or even caymans and American crocodiles. We'd be providing habitat for endangered species...amongst other things....
