In the judiciary, you are pretty much either a strict constructionist or a liberal. In simpler terms, the former follows his or her sworn oath in accordance with the U.S. Constitution as it was written by our founders. The latter adjudicates in accordance with feelz and more modern and progressive values. But let's remember this, all judges, cops, military, elected legislators & executives swear the same oath to our ancient Constitution. How they adhere to their sworn oath is how you tell the good guys from the errant ones.
