Actually I'm puzzled. Historically the Dems have typically not been kind to failed candidates, and it's more stigmatization the higher the office they didn't win. So the fact she's still being mooted as CA governator, or another presidential run, is surprising.
Perhaps her puppeteers think they can get some additional utility out of her.
