Locally we've had a mild winter. Mild enough for trees to grow new tender young leaves and for fruit buds to sprout followed by two hard freezes. Just had a really nice spell of warmish weather and new greenery sprouting. Forecast for the next two days is for freezes at night. "Gah...", indeed.
West NY, North NY. Same-same, right? I heard your winter doesn't end until June. Anyway, find joy or Schadenfreude wherever you can...the impact on NYC is probably felt worse. (But I may be wrong. I'm extrapolating from winters spent in Great Lakes, IL and Newport, RI when I was in the Navy. Gah, when we deployed from Newport it was to Norway and the North Atlantic. The rest was mostly tropical or semi-tropical.)

Just saying
That's a nice picture though. They are predicting lows below freezing here in a couple of days, but I'll believe it when I see it. 😀
"When it reigns, it poors." Count your blessings.
Out here, I call them decorative clouds. They seem to be up in the sky just to look good.
We had a blizzard in WNY yesterday morning with just a plain old dusting of snow and cold this morning.
