AW here???
Very possible, IMHO. Kurt Schlichter’s column is worth the read...
Asymmetrical Warfare means applying the strengths you have against an overwhelming enemy’s weaknesses. The goat sex pest mullahs have been utterly humiliated by America’s and Israel’s overwhelming military superiority in conventional forces, with our airplanes, drones, and other systems traversing their airspace at will after we established total air supremacy. Our ships sail the seas, unthreatened and unchallenged, while most of the Iranian Navy morphs into submarines. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the capacity to strike back, and that doesn’t mean that we don’t have potential weaknesses. Everybody has weaknesses. Ours is located in the United States itself, our homeland, where we’re at. It’s already happening on a small scale, with open immigration poster child Ngdiaga Diagne shooting up a bar in Texas for Allah. We’re vulnerable here, and you are potentially on the front line of this war.

Iran used the IRGCs Quds Force to do their transnational terrorism. Are they here? You bet they are! I just hope the Fibbies and others have at least some idea of who/where they are.
These are the ‘true believers’ (read fanatics) cells who will gladly shoot up innocent people to create ‘terror’ in the populace. They don’t actually like to go against people who can shoot back, as they die before they stack enough bodies.
Which means they’re not going to hit military base gates, law enforcement, or any place with a concentration of folks that can kill them first. Malls, grocery stores, schools, etc. are the prime targets as many are gun free zones.
Since Iran’s leadership is gone now, most of these cells now have no controllers managing them and they are probably thinking about going out on their own.
Stay alert, don’t necessarily alter your daily routine, but pay closer attention to those you come in contact with.
And if you carry every day (as you should), make sure your defensive handgun is ready to go, and you have at least one spare magazine or reload.

Read Kurt Schlichter's "The Attack". He sketches out a very possible future.
I've always said that most Americans wouldn't pay much mind to terrorism or the terrorists until things start exploding in the Kroger.
