This is why I want to go back to a 'dumb phone'. The only thing I really needed the 'smart' features for was I used to play solitaire on my phone while waiting for things.
BUT, last week Amazon pulled ALL of their stuff from Google and Android, so all of my games are now gone. So I don't really need a smart phone any more.
Apple is really good at convincing people that their security is great. Jedi hand wave and all.
Your smartphone can either be easy and convenient, or it can be secure. It can't be both. You can either be connected to your car, your headphones, your social media, you bank accounts, your healthcare portal, your fitness devices, etc, or it can be secure and practically useless.
This is why my phone gets used for...texting.
I haven't had an Apple product in over 30 years. Don't plan on ever going back.

Not if you don’t mind China having everything on your phone, along with Google and who knows whom else.
