A truth I learned (don't ask me how) is that any tool used to loosen or remove any fastener is inoperative until it slips, you bust your knuckles, and at least one expletive has been deployed. 😁
The SOB tool definition is way too acurate lol! I've definitley had moments where I've thrown a wrench across the garage in frustration. The drill press one killed me bc thats exactly what happens everytime I try to use mine.
I use my skill saw to make precise 89° right angle cuts.
Channel locks? Bah. Why use anything but vise grips?
I bought a band saw. It terrified me. I'd only used it a few times, and then only after planning out the cut in detail and giving myself a safety brief. I gave the saw away after my 91-year-old uncle, a retired engineer, cut three of his fingers off.
Now a "Porta" band saw, in conjunction with a square (or properly calibrated Mark 1 eyeball) can create marvels of precision, with less risk than with your floor models. YMMV. 😀
Thanks. The guy I gave the band saw to is as precise as a millwright. He d said he'd make any cut I wanted on his "new" bandsaw. I intend to remain fully digited.
Friend of mine managed to *almost* slice off two fingers, and did take the tip of the third... has new knuckles on the first two fingers, and a new nerve graft on the tip of the third finger. Band saws are nasty.

You only use vice grips to snap the bolt.
I love to parse things.
A. To snap a bolt, use only vise grips.
B. You only use vise grips to snap the bolt.
C. Tightening a bolt is a snap using vise grips.
